On Wednesday 11th March Exception PCB put on their Kit to participate in a 5-a-side Football game to raise money for Sports Relief.
With a few short, Lisa Trust who works in Production Control stepped up and agreed to be in goal instead of being a supporter.
Technical Sales Director, Mike Devine got his ref kit on to ensure things were fair even if his head height did change throughout the game but his excuse was “he ducked!”
With the teams picked at random, we were ready to start the game.
The first game saw the orange team winning a very close game 4-3.
The second game saw both teams knackered except from the two youngest players but again the Orange team came out winners with a score of 4-3.
Phil Danter, IT Manager and his son Lewis were battling it out. But Lewis ran circles round his father!
The third game was nearly played at walking pace! But the younger generation in the Red team stepped up and ran circles around the Orange team. With Michelle Stamp pulling off some excellent saves for the red team to lead them winning 2-7!
Final Score Orange team 10 – 13 Red team
After the Final Whistle…
Everyone who took part would like to thank Exception PCB for sponsoring them £300 which will be donated to Sports Relief and a big thank you to Tewkesbury School Sports Hall for their discounted rate of their sports hall.
