What does a Printed Circuit Board do?

What does a Printed Circuit Board do? A PCB (Printed Circuit Board) and its components are used in most electronic devices. They are used to mechanically support and electrically connect the electronic components using conductive pathways created using, track or signal traces which are etched from copper sheets laminated onto a non-conductive substrate.
