Seven Employees of Exception PCB participated in the Five Valley’s walk on Sunday 29th September 2019. They took on the challenge of walking 21.5 miles through Five Valleys. Monty Cullinane, Production Manager has taken part in the challenge for the last 2 years. Other members of the team decided to join him this year to help raise money for Meningitis Now.
Beginning at Stroud Cricket Club venturing through Painswick, Slad, Toadsmoor, Chalford and Nailsworth walking for 8 hours plus an hours stop for a bite to eat!
4.1 miles from the start line they were able to fill up on Bacon Sandwiches and Hot dogs and refuel with coffee!
After walking 14.2 miles, it was time to stop for a bite to eat and an hours break.
6.15 miles later they were finally back where they started and enjoyed a free well deserved drink courtesy of Stroud Cricket Club.
